Mothers In Crisis was instrumental in founding the month of April as the National Month of Hope through the National Day Calendar. The inaugural year was 2018. April National Month of Hope 2020 is going to be powerful! We are continuing to give out HOPEE Awards and will have a Hope Celebration Health Fair and the second annual HOPEE (Helping Others Practice Enduring Empowerment) Award ceremony in Tallahassee, FL on April 18, 2020.

HOPE stands for (Helping Others Practice Empowerment). In April 2016 in honor of Mothers In Crisis 25th anniversary, MIC received proclamations from the City and County designating every Friday as Hope Universe Day. On Hope Fridays, share hope and help with those in need.
